EVERYTHING old will help raise muchneeded new funds for the Cardinia Combined Churches Caring (Four Cs) Emergency Food Bank.
An antique fair in Pakenham on Saturday, 6 August will see more than 30 dealers from around Victoria gather to sell their wares.
The Pakenham Antique Fair, following on from its successful debut last year, is an important fundraiser for the vital food bank service, which has a growing base of clientele in Cardinia Shire.
But it still relies on public donations.
Four C’s director Jeni Mathieson said the stall holders had been very supportive of the food bank.
Glassware, china, pottery and a huge range of other antique items will be on offer at the fair, which runs from 9am to 4pm at the Pakenham racecourse.
“The range is just mindblowing and there are a lot of great bargains,” Ms Mathieson said.
“It’s coming together well.
“We hope this year’s fair is a terrific success.”
