Officer’s good start

THE first game of the year was a cold one with Officer Under 11 Green playing Pakenham Upper Toomuc Brown at Marantha. Officer opened the game fielding and a wicket on the third ball from the captain, Mason, provided a great start to the game.
Officer’s fielding was excellent with all players making a contribution in both fielding and bowling. Congratulations to Sam, Jamie, Callum, and Tim who all took one wicket in their two overs and two wickets to Mason in his.
The game continued in Officer’s direction with a partnership of 38 off four overs for Dylan and Tim and 30 runs for Callum and Jamie off three overs. The game finished with Officer defeating PUT making 132 runs to their 17.
Congratulations to all Officer players for an excellent start to the year.
