THE 16th annual All American Car Show, held in Gembrook on Sunday, has raised more than $10,000 for victims of Black Saturday.
Co-ordinator Dennis Jones said about 500 cars came through the gate, with each $5 entry fee going to a fire relief fund organised by the Emerald and District Rotary Club.
“It was very well supported. We had a lot of drivers put in extra money; like one guy who gave $50 at the gate instead of $5,” Mr Jones said.
“The raffle alone raised just over $1000. It was well done by everybody.”
Entries were slightly down on last year, with some drivers concerned about the nearby Bunyip State Park fire.
