COLOURFUL characters were out in full force to create a very festive Beaconhills College swimming carnival.
Students have been diving in for their annual inter-house swimming carnivals over the past fortnight.
Sequins, fancy hats and bright costumes were worn as students cheered on their houses.
“The successes of the carnivals are attributed to the excellent effort, enthusiasm and spirit of the students who competed enthusiastically for their house, irrespective of their swimming ability,” said head of sport Scott McConchie.
“Students participated in events ranging from the traditional to the novelty such as the boogie board race.”
